South Africa Team Visit
Paul Woodman and Zoe Gore joined with Kate Walton and Gary, Julia and Ed Wills to visit and work with two churches in Cape Town. They visited the Impact Centre, where many people are being freed from drug addictions. Zoe led some training on counselling for the centre's workers. She said, "God gave me courage to share my story of his goodness to me, with others".
The team visited David and Iris Mniki in Dutywa. There, they worked with the church and led sessions with AIDS carers, teachers and leaders. Julia Wills trained others in nursing skills. They also spoke at two schools and had an extended visit to Mida School, which has begun building new blocks on land that City Life helped to purchase.

David Mniki and Paul Woodman recorded a tv programme on "Inclusive Leadership" for TBN. Finally, plans were discussed for the 2010 World Cup, which will be hosted in South Africa. A UK team is likely to join with local churches in reaching out to football fans.
