Flowers Estate Picnic  

Churches meeting around the Flowers Estate met together for a joint picnic and service to celebrate Pentecost on 31st May. Around 180 people came for the picnic from City Life, Aster House, Swaythling Baptist Church, St Albans, Immaculate Conception and Swaythling Methodist. The afternoon was was bathed in glorious sunshine and there was a great atmosphere as we talked, played rounders and football together. There was a joint time of worship and prayer for the estate, which finished with Chris Day reflecting on what connected us together.
