John Stewart
It is with sadness that we have heard that John Steward died suddenly on Wednesday 13 October. John and his family have been part of the church for many years. He is a well loved member of City Life Church and has volunteered to serve and give in many ways, more recently providing free debt advice to those needing help. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Claire and all of his family and friends...
All are welcome to a celebration of John's life, which will take place at 286, Burgess Road at 4pm on Friday 22nd October. There will be a service for family and close friends only at Southampton Crematorium beforehand at 2.45pm.
If you are able to help with catering for the celebration, please contact Bev.
No flowers by request. If you would like to make a donation to the Debt Advice Service at 286 that John faithfully supported, you can do so via City Life Church (by cheque with a note on the back or by the internet confirming the gift by email). We will then make a donation to the charity on our behalf. |

His wisdom, love, passion for the Father Heart of God will be missed, along with his compassion for the lost. Our love to Claire & the family at this temporary parting, till we all meet again.

It felt so comfortable. I was struck by his warmth and humility, and made to note to cultivate a friendship with him. Sadly that is not now possible. Love and prayers to his family at this time.

I really pray for his whole family for comfort and love to surround you.

I will never forget his kindness, his time to really listen and get to know you also, when we went to the covention taming of the tiger in my old yellow mini bus he was a joy to with singing all way back, I will never forget you John, I guess God needed you more buddy, you are sadly missed
