Open Weekend at st Andrews (20-22 May)
 St Andrews in Sholing hosted an open weekend in May with a range of different events for people of all ages. Special guest speaker and artist, Daniel Cozens came with an array of paintings and engaged groups at a Night of Colour, Men's Breakfast and Ladie's Lunch. Coming with him, were a small team from the charity he founded, Through Faith Missions, who supported the events and helped the people at St Andrews to let other in Sholing know that the church had re-opened. Some 2500 homes were visited in the run up to the week and many new faces came to the events of the open weekend.
People in the area asked if the church could run an Alpha course, a course that explores the Christian Faith and we're expecting to run the course in June.
Many thanks to everyone who helped promote or supported the events. It is much appreciated.

Would love to do the healing service too - but I'll be at practice with our church singing group. (I go to Holy Trinity Weston Lane) really looking ofrward to seeing Dan Cozens 7.3pm0 on Sat at our church. I'm an artist too ( & a teacher) & very much want to use my art to benefit people.
