Our Community

Young People (11-18's)wellies

City Life has a thriving youth work. We run activities on a Sunday Morning for 11-14's (LIFT) and Sunday evening (Hot Stuff) for 14+, a joint youth night with New Community Central on a Thursday (FUEL), monthly Sunday lunch groups, annual weekend away and trips to events like Soul Survivor and Resonate. As a youth ministry we have five purposes that underpin all that we do together: Honour God, Reach Out, Build Friendships, Grow Together and Serve People.

LIFT

LIFT is our Sunday morning programme for 11-14's which meets in the second half of our church celebration. The session includes games, Bible teaching, prayer, drama, illustrations and lots of fun. This term LIFT is looking at what it means to follow Jesus.

Hot Stuff

Hot Stuff is our Sunday evening programme for 14+ and is a place to Grow Together through Bible Study, exploring spiritual gifts and prayer. Hot Stuff meets on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month at The Morgan's from 7.30-9.30pm. The name comes from the idea of having a

hot drink whilst discussing hot topics. For more information join our facebook group.

FUEL

FUEL is our Thursday night programme, run jointly with New Community at Central Hall, in term time from 7.00-9.00pm. FUEL evenings consist of either (1) age specific small groups which help us to Build Friendship and Grow Together, (2) an all together worship event which helps us to Honour God and or (3) FUEL For Friends which are fun socials that help us to Reach Out to our friends, depending on the week. (please click here for more info). For more info join our facebook group.
