The Gate

The Gate aims to make lifestyle change possible by offering friendship, support, prayer and spiritual guidance to those involved in the sex industry and their families. Women enter prostitution for many different reasons. Drug and alcohol addictions, loneliness, debt, bereavement and experiencing different types of abuse are common factors. Many start at a young age and some were groomed into prostitution and sadly it can become the only known lifestyle to them. The Gate works alongside people to change their lifestyle. This can be a long process...building confidence; overcoming addictions; learning to budget; coping with calm and forming healthy relationships are all issues that face the women who are supported.

The Waterfall

A new ministry is being born out of the work of The Gate.  The Waterfall will be a separate charity running a residential programme of recovery and learning for women with all kinds of addictions.  We do not yet have a fully functioning website but visit http://thewaterfall.org.uk to read the information on our holding page.  Or click here to read our latest prayer letter.
