Our garden is for those who love the outdoors.

Working, living and resting in the outdoor space is rewarding and often therapeutic. We have two gardens that are part of our house. Aldermoor Farm – a city farm near Southampton General Hospital is run by Richard and Kathy Pitt. It includes volunteers and community groups to run the farm with the end produce sold in the farm shop.

We also run a social enterprise called Greenhouse that provides employment opportunities working outdoors.

Aldermoor Community Farm

Aldermoor Community Farm is a business owned by its members. Our goal is to operate a sustainable community farm, nurturing the potential of people as we nurture the land.

Landscaping is a service which encourages, mentors and builds up volunteers who find themselves out of work or out of community.

We are a not-for-profit enterprise with all proceeds going back into the charity.  By using Greenhouse you will enable us to provide volunteers with support, mentoring, training and a reference, helping them into paid employment.

Our team can help you with:

  • Landscaping
  • Garden Clearance
  • Fencing
  • Patios

Friends of Daisy Dip

We are active partners in the Friends of Daisy Dip, a wonderful green, open space in Swaythling. This is a community of like-minded people who are driven to improving the condition of and facilities available at Daisy Dip. Already, we’ve seen a new play park come into the area and we’re excited to be working on some future plans for the space. To find out more, contact debs@citylife.org.uk
