Our living room is a place to belong and feel welcome
Sitting on a sofa and letting out a sigh…that’s what we hope you find at City Life – a place to be at rest, at peace and around people who care for one another and love God together.
Our Living Room hosts all our gatherings from triplets and small groups, households of prayer and our Sunday celebrations.
In a household, everyone has their part to play, and we welcome you to bring your gifts and talents to the life within the Living Room.
There are many ways that we connect, in homes, coffee shops, parks, online and more.
If you’re new here we’d love to get to know you personally and help you find the best way to connect with us – Contact Us and someone will be in touch!
Join us for weekly fun family style teaching and group activities
Every 2nd Sunday we’ll gathering for teaching (currently continuing on zoom at 6pm, open from 5.40pm for a chat. (Contact Us for Zoom links).
Every 4th Sunday we’ll be meeting at St Albans Church, Tulip Road, for a time of worship, testimony and ‘togetherness’ at 6pm.
The remaining Sunday slots are being left open intentionally in order to not fill up diaries and to allow space for God to move; this time can be used to connect and pray together, be missional, practice hospitality with one another and with those beyond the church.
The youth group is for 11-17 year olds on Sundays from 5-6pm. Together they have fun, make friends, and find out more about faith.
At the moment, they’re doing an online Alpha course with occasional meet-ups in line with government guidance.
Drop us a line for more information – Contact Us.
We also partner with Young Life International in their work to reach out to teenagers in Southampton.
Church at Home
City Life has many different Small groups. These include prayer triplets, a Youth group and Connect Groups. There are also other more informal ‘friends/parents of’ groups that build relationship around the different children’s groups that form part of our Shine community.
These groups meet in homes all across the city (Drop us a line to be put in touch with group hosts – Contact Us).
These are groups of three people committing to regular contact with one another for prayer, support and accountability.
If you’d like to be part of a prayer triplet please drop us a line – Contact Us.
As well as being a place of belonging and care, Connect Groups provide serving opportunities where everyone’s gift and contribution can be shared. They are the main way of connecting with our communities and sharing God’s love. Small groups use teaching materials from Sunday Celebrations to grow in God and share the vision of City Life.
