Bev Webb
Bev is wife to Clive, mum to Nick and Charlie and devoted Nanna to Knox, Niko and Emmie. She is passionate to see City Life increasingly become the multigenerational, multicultural, and supernatural church of her dreams! She loves to see God healing broken hearts and restoring lives and is very involved in facilitating transformational 'Healing Prayer,' with those inside and outside the church. She is also a lover of all things creative!
Paul Woodman
Paul is married to Susannah and they have two grown-up children. He is our Designated Safeguarding Lead and Company Secretary. He serves as chaplain to the Rose Road Association and the Oasis Academies in Southampton. He also oversees our work with foster carers, refugees, Hong Kong Welcome, and the homeless. He has co-founded the Southampton Street Support Action Group focused on tackling rough sleeping. He was recently presented with the City of Southampton Award by the Lord Mayor and an Honorary degree of Fellow by Solent University. Follow Paul on X and Instagram.
Dan Pooley
Dan loves seeing the church active and engaged with society; building positive, supportive community that is inclusive and transformational; that brings lasting change and opportunity for the miraculous power of God’s love to work in people’s lives. Dan oversees our work among the homeless in the city and leads our housing project (Hope into Action) and the Southampton Church Rent Deposit Scheme. He has a heart for India and regularly takes a team there working with several projects and churches in a variety of locations. He’s also a big fan of coffee and enjoys food, a good wine and a single malt. Dan lives locally with his wife, Mel, and their two children, Bethea and Joha.
Nicky Porter
Nicky is on the pastoral leadership team. She also leads Amber, a chaplaincy service for women promoting health and wellbeing. Nicky leads a team of chaplains serving strip clubs, massage parlours and women selling sex on the streets. She’s passionate to see people thriving, knowing their value and God given identity, and finding a place of belonging within God’s family. Nicky enjoys combining her love of people with hospitality. She also loves a fast car and soaking up the sun!
