Aldermoor Farmhouse is a versatile community space that includes a house and garden, providing a sanctuary in the otherwise bustling city of Southampton. It is very close to the General Hospital, University of Southampton, and the city centre, yet provides space to be away from it all in peace and quiet in God’s presence.

Aldermoor Farmhouse comprises:

• A resident Prayer Community: A shared life rooted in daily rhythms of prayer, shared meals, deep friendship and a wholehearted pursuit of Jesus. If you’re looking for more than simply somewhere to live, and sense a call to intentional Christian community, this may be a good fit. Speak to Dan to explore further.
• Venue hire space: Including a living room, dining room, kitchen, and bathroom. Ideal for small to medium size groups seeking a setting for retreat days, prayer gatherings, leadership time away or spiritually focused events. The garden is also available for hire for larger outdoor events.  Please contact our Church Leaders for more information.
• Two guestrooms: Available to book for those needing space to retreat for a time or season. Whether for rest, discernment or renewal, view our guestroom information pack to find out more.

Those visiting are free to wander in the beautiful garden and appreciate the wildness, or to visit Aldermoor Community Farm next door (on Wednesdays and Saturdays) with its quiet spaces, farm shop, small café and emporium.

Located in the scenic gardens of Aldermoor Farmhouse, The Shepherd's Hut serves as a dedicated prayer space. Fully resourced and comfortably furnished, it is available for individuals and groups seeking a serene environment in which to pray, reflect, and worship God. This secluded retreat invites visitors to book time for spiritual renewal and personal contemplation.
