In addition to the below opportunity we have some self-employed sessional/bank staff opportunities available within our Night Light Cafe project to help host our cafe evenings. Sessions run from 3:30-7pm and pay £75. We have regular sessions available, particularly on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Street Light Chaplain and Outreach Worker
Street Light, a project of City Life Church, is seeking a compassionate and motivated individual to join our team delivering a mobile chaplaincy and outreach service in partnership with local agencies.
Working directly with people sleeping rough across Southampton, you will build trusted relationships, offer practical and pastoral support, and help individuals access services that lead to safety, stability, and recovery.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a heart for supporting vulnerable and marginalised people
- Is confident working collaboratively with partner agencies
- Can engage relationally and work flexibly, which may include some evenings/weekends
- Brings resilience, initiative, and a non-judgemental approach
