Vision & Values
Welcome to Our Home. We hope you enjoy looking around and discovering our passions and the different ways we meet and serve across the city. At the heart of City Life Church are our vision and values. Read below to learn more.
Our Vision
City Life Church is part of God’s family in Southampton, sharing everyday life around Jesus. We are committed to building communities where we celebrate God and welcome everyone.
We feel inspired by God to meet together in a new and exciting way. Instead of meeting together as one large group, we usually meet in home-sized communities. These 'Church Communities' transform homes, workplaces, and spaces across the city into places where we share life and make time for God in our everyday lives. In this way, church life inspires us to go deeper with God, grow as disciples, and offer a welcoming space for those who don’t yet have a relationship with God. Our Values
Compassionate Community
We embrace diversity, welcoming both friends and strangers, and seek to offer a place of belonging to all.
Pioneering
We are responsive to the needs of those within our community and in the communities we serve, breaking new ground and courageously embracing the challenges that come with change.
Empowering
We seek to give people the tools they need to live well and thrive. We are committed to justice for all, respecting each person’s beliefs and choices.
Creativity
We value the courage to reflect, learn, and express ourselves creatively. We celebrate creativity in every action, expression, response, and collaboration.
